Panlopy of Irregular Vibrations (2018) is a video work that collects a series of glitched and datamoshed field recordings. The work documents movement of the ocean surface and an ocean aquarium while exposing their slippages and failure through the lens of glitch and data-moshing. Immersion here is an exploration of containment, exisiting between two spectrums of space: contained and uncontained. The architecture of these disparate spaces are reconfigured as lines that fail to delineate, seamlessly blending into one world that oscillates back and forth between each end. Glitch is used as a site of indeterminacy, to interrupt and arrest notions of linearity while seeking to exist in two varying spaces at once.
